Church People are mean..

There are many people who love God but don't like his people. Many in the church pretend to be followers of Christ and yet they don't treat others like Christ has commanded us to treat one another. This is where the term 'church hurt' comes from. In our subject scripture (Heb 10:25), we are commanded to gather together with other believers so that we may strengthen one another, pray for one another and bare each others burdens (Gal 6:2 ESV). However, I get it. There are people that you just don't vibe with in your church. So you skip going to church and just decides to watch online.  You are not following the commandment and therefore, you are out of alignment with God. You must remember that the enemy is also in church; looking to see whom he may trip up in their belief and so some are pretending to be a believer in Christ ( but their actions say otherwise). Let not non-believers hiding within the body to dampen your desire to gather with the true body of Christ. I am not saying that it is wrong to watch church at home because you are just super tired or sick. God understands when you just don't have the energy to go but, don't make it a habit. Always consult the Lord in prayer in everything you do. Remember, the enemy desires to separate you from other believers because you are most vulnerable to the scheme of the devil when you are trying to fight the alone. It is within the true body of Christ we find like minded individuals who will help you grow in faith. It is that same body of people where you will find love and acceptance of who you are. In the true body of Christ there is no judgment, only love. Plus, God has commanded us to come together in worship, edification, and praise. There is power in corporate worship. If this was not so, God would not have told us "For where is two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the mist of them" (Matt 18:20). Or how about Psalm 133:1, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"

Brothers and sisters, I desire that when Christ return, the body of Christ will be gathered together in unity. My honest prayer is for you to find a church home where you can learn the true word of God, where your faith will grow and you will find those who will willingly come along beside you in your time of need, sorrow, and in joy in prayer and in person.
