Plans for a EXTRAORDINARY Life
If you are like most people, you have made plans for your life; for the next day, next week, etc... But the Bible tells us in Proverbs 16:1 "A man's heart plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps." In other words, God knows how many steps it will take to get to your destination. However, it is in those steps that we find there will be detours and road blocks. God knew all this beforehand. It is in these steps that we often find out that the place we were going, is not where we end up. AND even though we seem to be lost (according to our own calculations), we are exactly were God choose for us to be. We get frustrated when we are trying to go right and we end up on the left hand side.
We are like Balaam in Numbers 22:21-35, who was on his way to curse the Israelites. However, on his way, his donkey keeps going in a different direction. He beats the donkey and yet, the donkey still doesn't go the way Balaam want him to go. We are Balaam, always want to be the captain that sails our own ship. . We are determine to get somewhere come hell or high water. However, we are side tracked every time. Balaam saw in the natural. But the donkey saw what was invisible. There was an angel of the Lord in the road. If you have never heard this story, go look it up. Anyways, God gives the donkey the ability to talk ( baby, I would have been off that donkey so fast, haha). We see in the natural, but God knows what is in the invisible that has pitted itself against us. As with His children, just like you are with your children, you want them to go the easy way so that it will go well with them. However, most children disregard their parents good intentions as control over their freedom. This is not so. We, like God want them to walk down the path of good life. That is what God does everyday. The Bible states in Psalms 23, that God leads us by the calm waters and onto the path of righteousness. Then He bestows grace and mercy on us as protection from our mistakes. When you follow God's lead, He always leads you to extraordinary events that make your life worth living. All because He determined your steps.
Your life is not dull because there is always something going on. Your life is never dull and if it is, then I will say, you are not following God. Everything He does is extra ordinary filled with promise and wonder. He will take you places that you never thought about in your wildest dreams. He is the creator of heaven and earth. He created an extraordinary place for His extraordinary creation, mankind.
Trust God to lead you where you don't want to go and it ends up being the best thing that has ever happen to you. Trust God to lead you to an extraordinary life. Be blessed. Live blessed.
